Virtual Visits Only Starting 3/23/2020
Due to the evolving situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the current “Safer at Home” orders in effect for the state of California and Los Angeles County, I will be moving to 100% telehealth beginning on Monday, March 23, 2020. I plan to continue with virtual visits until the current orders are lifted. That date is currently estimated to be April 19, 2020, but it is subject to change as the pandemic progresses.
My number one concern is the health of my clients and protecting our vulnerable populations. While meeting via video is not everyone’s first choice for mental health, I do find that it is a good alternative when in-person visits are not feasible. Research also suggests that distance counseling is an effective way of providing therapy.
Current clients should have received an email from my assistant with instructions for logging into my virtual waiting room. Please contact us if you need any assistance.
New clients will be accepted as my availability allows and will need to start with virtual visits.
As the social distancing and pandemic impacts continue, managing your mental health and wellness will become increasingly important. Rest assured that we are here to support you throughout this challenging time.
